This bathroom took some of the most research we’ve ever done to complete. The bathroom isn’t the biggest, it belongs in a standard 1930’s semi-detached property. Our client wanted a separate shower and a separate bath whilst keeping enough room to get dry. We came up with the idea of a wet room which are completely level with the rest of the floor and we used two shower doors and took parts from each to create a shower that, when open, is 1m x 1m (a good size), but when not in use they can push the shower doors back in and because of the level wet room deck you suddenly have much more available floor space. We also moved the toilet from one side of the room to the other, built the wall out to created recessed shelves behind, and to house the frame for the wall hung pan, which gives a feeling of more space.
